The Basketball Academy Of Dubai program is elaborated for players of different levels looking to improve fundamentals that include: shooting, passing, defense, dribbling and overall game knowledge.  The academy program includes game play in a fun and energetic environment.

A more advanced level of instruction focusing on increasing all individual skills levels, game strategies, game tactics including man on man defense, offensive rebounding, screen plays, set play drilling, strength and conditioning…

Program components:

  • Specific basketball physical conditioning

Program helps kids jump higher and cover more court faster using the strength, speed, and conditioning components of this plan. You'll also reduce your risk for common ankle and knee injuries with innovative mobility, stability, and flexibility techniques

Technique

 Fundamentals just like any skill, whether or not you become better or worse depends on whether or not you're practicing the correct element techniques and fundamentals.

Tactics

Basketball is fundamentally a game of effective spacing and movement that requires precision passing, communication and team chemistry that helps synchronize the movement of the player with the ball and his/her teammates without the ball. In fact, when it comes to pure efficiency and effectiveness on the basketball court, it is equally – if not more – important to move well without the ball when compared to moving with the ball. And it is these dynamics that separate the great players from the rest.

  • Little Dunkers Program: 4-7 yrs
    Beginner level focusing on hand eye co-ordination and movement, exercises
  • Junior Ballers (JB): 8-12 yrs
    Intermediate level focusing on ball handling skills , offence and defense, playmaking, strength and conditioning drills. The program raises the fundamental basketball skills ability of participants and introduces court-craft and game strategy awareness.
  • Senior Slammers (SS): 13-17 yrs
